Exploring mars i going to be very exiting, but for now it's easier to explorer to our own planet!
Trains travel into London from all over the country.
They are very important for people who lives in the suburbs or outside London and travel into London for work. 1,8 million people travel into the center of London by train every day. For many people, the journey by train takes to a convenient Underground station.
To sum up the transports are very important for London.

Unit 9

Health care

Sometimes we just don't feel well. Some people have medical insurance but most people can't afford it and rely on the National Health Service, the NHS. This is provided by the government in Britain.
The NHS has sent everybody in Britain a Self-Help Guide.
You may need to go to the chemist to buy cough mixture or pills for a headache. There are lots of medicines you can buy in the chemist but for more powerful ones you need to have a prescription.
You can get a prescription from a doctor.
Doctors work in surgeries or health centers.
NHS direct is a phone service where a trained nurse will suggest the best way to treat you.
For accidents or emergencies, you should go to a hospital.
But many people prefer alternative medicine.

Unit 8

Computers

Computers are now a very important part of live in Britain. Many people have got a personal computer. Young people love playing computer games. Computers will control the way we live, in 'smart homes'. They can adjust the temperature; close the blinds, act as a burglar alarm and even turn on the over. There will be television and Internet sockets in every room. Are computers taking over our lives?

Horror stories

Horror stories are very popular in Britain. Two famous horror characters:
Frankenstein's monster and Dracula were created by British writers. Bram stoker thought of the story of Dracula when he was sitting in a cemetery. He saw some sunlight fall on a crack in the lid of a tomb and he imagined that the light might wake up the dead body inside. some fans of horror stories enjoy talking a guided tour around London.
